Sweden Emilia Romagna Network

SERN is a transnational network of 55 local and regional authorities from Sweden and Italy. The network was founded in 2005 with the main objective of developing a long-term framework of cooperation for its members in the two countries. It is the main transnational network in Europe fostering relations in a multilevel perspective between Northern and Southern Europe and in particular between Sweden and Italy.

SERN operates in 5 policy areas: education and learning, welfare policies, environmental policies, inclusion and migration, local and regional development.
